Little did I know that the day I went to pick out my
first show puppy, I would be bringing home 2 of them. As I was putting my
boy in the car that day, ready to go, my (then) husband was putting
another boy right in behind him. "He wanted a puppy too!"
A little upset, I told him; "I can't train two
puppies at once! He said he knew...but what he knew was that eventually I
would train him, and I did.
It took awhile for Dexter to mature physically so that
gave me time to work with both of them.
Sadly though, soon after Dexter earned his championship
we lost him to a very rare lung disease.
Little did I know how much he would touch my heart.
He is sadly missed by those who knew him.
